[116.x] Year-End Accrual

[116.x] Year-End Accrual

Content

This report provides the necessary accrual figures for the year-end closing: total of started services, total of receivables, and total of on account payments not yet applied.

The report first queries the target date for the year-end closing, usually December 31 of the previous year. The Database is then reset to this status, meaning that all transactions or issued invoices recorded after the target date are not considered. Subsequently, three worksheets are created:

Started Services: Here, sorted by Invoice Reference, all cases are listed where services existed that had not yet been billed as of the target date. These services are totaled. At the end of the list, any on account payments that were paid but not yet applied are deducted again.

Receivables: This list shows all invoices still open as of the target date with the corresponding outstanding amounts.

on account and partial invoices: This list shows all issued on account and partial invoices with an outstanding balance. This means that as of the target date, corresponding on account payments were received but not yet applied. These on account payments must be accrued. They are therefore deducted from those on the "Started Services" worksheet.
