Conversion from Word to PDF
With Build 230422-00, we introduced the ability to archive Word documents in drafts directly as PDF documents using 4D Write Pro. With this build, timeSensor LEGAL 365 now also supports conversion via LibreOffice. This tool often converts even more accurately than 4D Write Pro.
If LibreOffice is installed server-side, timeSensor LEGAL 365 automatically uses LibreOffice for conversion. If LibreOffice is not installed or the conversion with LibreOffice fails, 4D Write Pro will continue to be used.
By pressing the Alt/Option key, the use of 4D Write Pro for conversion can be forced.
In the application of the function, nothing changes: Select the desired Word document in the Drafts area and choose the formats Archive Document .pdf or .pdf A from the action menu.
Hide Archive Groups
Normally, the archive section of the DMS displays the archive subdivision. When sorting documents in this mode, sorting occurs within each archive group. However, sometimes it may be desirable to have a chronological view of all documents. This can now be achieved by selecting the new command Hide Archive Groups in the menu of the archive groups icon.
The archive groups are now removed, and all documents are displayed as a simple list, which can now be sorted across groups.
Quick Assignment in the Communicator
If you use the add-in Case Folders, timeSensor LEGAL 365 automatically remembers up to 20 case folders you last opened. You can now also use this list of most frequently used cases in the Communicator to quickly assign messages. To do this, click a message while holding the SHIFT key and select the appropriate case from the list. This way, you complete the assignment with two clicks.
Third Gender
A third gender option "Non-binary" is now available in the master sheet of the case file.
New 4D Write Pro Toolbar
The new and improved toolbar for editing 4D Write Pro drafts and templates is now available.
