Generate automatic flat rate invoices

Generate automatic flat rate invoices

If you have regular customers who should receive the same flat-rate bill from you every month (every quarter, every year), then TSL offers a practical little feature with which you can automatically generate invoices with a suitable flat-rate service.
The function is hidden in the automatic invoice generation.

Proceed

Open the settings of the desired mandate and click on the Invoicing tab, where you select the Periodically according to plan option under the Automatic invoicing section. An additional window will now appear on the right-hand side, where you can use the gear icon to create a plan .

In the next window, please select the periodicity with which you would like the automatically generated invoices to be created by TSL. The selection window allows every imaginable period. In the example here we create an invoice on the 1st day of every month for a period of 12 months.

You have now told the system that it should create automatic invoices. But now you still have to add the automatic flat-rate benefit. To do this, please select all the data in the new window ( cmd+A or Ctrl+A ) and choose the new Change selection option from the action menu.

In the input mask that now appears, you can select a service category of your choice via the Automatically generated service option. In our example, the best service is the flat fee , which you can give a suitable service title at this point. The service title is usually stated in the invoice details to the client, so choose something meaningful, such as a flat-rate fee as agreed . In addition, enter the amount to be charged and confirm with OK.

Define automatic invoicing

That's it. TSL will now create a new flat-rate service in this mandate every month and immediately bill it automatically. All you have to do then is check the invoice, print it out and send it off.
