To be able to use timeSensor under Windows, you must install the timeSensor Client on the individual workstations.

It is then located in your download folder by default. Double-click to start the installer and the following screen will appear:

The following is an example of the procedure for installing the timeSensor 365 client:
Select the "timeSensor 365 Client" component to be installed.
Note: A different component may be preselected.
Specify the target path for the application - we would recommend that you do not change the suggested installation path without a compelling reason.
The installation is complete - depending on your Internet connection, it may take a moment for all modules to load and the installation to be completed.
Configuration
It is recommended to create a shortcut to the application on the desktop after installation.
When working with timeSensor 365, the timeSensor 365 client communicates permanently with the cloud database.
This requires a faultless network and internet connection. If in doubt, check the connection to the cloud database with a PING test.
PING times of less than 20ms are required for smooth operation.

Make sure that the workstations (including laptops) are connected via LAN. Wi-Fi is not robust enough for a database connection and even short interruptions can cause the timeSensor 365 client to lose the connection to the cloud database.
Ensure that the workstation does not go into sleep mode by setting the corresponding setting in the energy saving options to 'never'.

The timeSensor 365 client communicates with the cloud database via ports 19812, 19813, 19814.
In the event of connection problems, please check whether these ports are enabled.
First connection to the cloud database
Start the timeSensor 365 client after installation.
The first time you start the client, it will not find the cloud database and will display the following message.
Go to Select ...
and enter the DNS name provided to you by the rollout team or the IP address of your assigned cloud instance in the following dialogue under Network address.
The dialogue normally only appears at the first start, as the client remembers and saves the settings made.
However, if you have connection problems, you can call up the dialogue again at any time by holding down the ALT / OPTION key immediately after starting the client.
