How can I import bookings into timeSensor LEGAL?

General Information

From build 3414, you can import bookings into timeSensor LEGAL. Thanks to our flexible import editor, virtually any file format can be imported. Since we do not want a failed import to ruin our accounting data, timeSensor LEGAL first directs the booking data into an intermediate table. After checking, the data can then be transferred to the accounting system, and the intermediate table will be deleted.
Info
The booking file must include at least:
  1. Date
  2. Text
  3. Debit account number
  4. Credit account number
  5. Amount

Procedure

  1. Select the Fibu Import function in the Accounting menu, under the Special section.
  2. Click on the Import button and open the file with the bookings.
  3. In the menu, select Import Table and choose the Import Table.
  4. Adjust the import parameters according to your data.
  5. Assign the imported columns to the correct fields in timeSensor LEGAL by selecting the appropriate field in the column header.
  6. Don't forget to save the settings by clicking the Save button. This way, for the next import, you can simply use the Load Settings button instead of configuring everything from scratch.
  7. Click on "Import" to import the data into the intermediate table.

  1. Double-check your data in the intermediate table: are the correct data in the right fields? Are the imported account numbers correct (each imported account number must be in the timeSensor account plan).

If the data is correct, click Next to transfer the data to the accounting system. The bookings are now imported, and the import table is deleted, making it available for the next import.
