Note:
Conflict check means that the system checks whether a potential client is already listed as an opposing party.

To ensure that a potential client has not already been created as such, please carry out a duplicate check.

Configuration

The relationships must be set correctly for the warning message to appear as required. 
To do this, go to Settings → Core data → Relationships


By double-clicking on the individual relationship, you can either set it to be included in a conflict check:

How to use

To add a new client, go to Contacts → Clients and click the plus sign. 



In the next window, enter the name and use the Tab key to switch to the First name field.
You will be informed that you can perform a conflict check:


The following window automatically contains the name of the potential client with which the conflict check is carried out, as the new dossier was added in the address group of the clients.


If the slider is set to 0, the check is carried out exactly as the spelling is and will therefore show the fewest hits, as it will only be carried out if there is a 100% match.
However, if the slider is set to 3, most hits are displayed, as there does not have to be an absolute match, but similar or deviating results are also displayed.​


Later conflict check

It is possible to carry out a subsequent check for existing addresses.
To do this, you can select several addresses in the address group All and then select Check for conflicts of interest in existing data using tools:
