Alternative User Interface
In the toolbar, you can switch to the alternative user interface. This integrates both operating features of timeSensor LEGAL into a single application window. The new user interface has been optimized for speed and can now display a company logo in the lower right corner.
The company logo can be added individually for each entity by a user with administrative rights in the Settings area, menu Admin under Special . Double-click an entity in the entity list to select the desired color of the entity and upload the logo. The latter can be dragged and dropped directly into the corresponding field.
Integration with Microsoft 365
For better compatibility with the Microsoft backend, timeSensor LEGAL 365 now supports the application mode of the Microsoft Graph API. This tightly integrates timeSensor LEGAL 365 with the Microsoft backend and allows data exchange with Microsoft services. The setup in the Microsoft backend is described in the linked article here.
Time Sheet Auto-Recovery
Since the connection to the timeSensor LEGAL 365 backend runs over the Internet, it is important not to lose data in case of an Internet connection interruption. For this reason, the time sheet in timeSensor LEGAL 365 has an auto-recovery function. If the Internet connection is interrupted during service entry, the recorded data will be automatically restored after the connection is re-established as soon as the time sheet is accessed again. A note about the restoration appears at the bottom of the time sheet.
Notes:
- Restoration occurs if the time sheet is accessed within 24 hours after the connection loss
- Restoration does not occur if an identical service already exists in the time sheet
Improvements in the DMS
Drag & Drop Multiple Attachments
It is now possible in the archive to select multiple attachments for a document and copy them simultaneously to another archive area:
Paste Plain Text in 4D Write Pro
Occasionally, you may want to paste previously copied text into a 4D Write Pro document completely without formatting so that the text adopts the formatting at the target location instead of overwriting it. Pasting as "Pure Text" is now possible with the keyboard shortcut SHIFT + CMD + V on macOS or SHIFT + CTRL + V on Windows.
Import Folder Hierarchies into the DMS
Do you want to import complex folder hierarchies into the DMS? The new version offers extended options for importing documents and hierarchical folder systems, which you can optionally translate into archive registers and/or tags. Please refer to our new FAQ article!
eInvoices in the ZUGFeRD Format
With the current version of timeSensor LEGAL 365, we are pleased to introduce a new, important feature to our German customers: support for the ZUGFeRD format. ZUGFeRD (Central User Guide of the Forum Electronic Invoice Germany) is a standardized and legally compliant format for electronic invoices in Germany.
This format combines structured XML data with a conventional PDF document. This not only makes the invoice information machine-readable but also provides a user-friendly PDF that can be printed and archived as usual. For companies and entities, this means more efficient invoice processing and better compatibility with accounting and ERP systems.
New Database Version
This build is based on the 4D Database v20 R7. Upon first connection, your client app will attempt to update itself automatically. If you have sufficient read/write permissions on your workstation, this will happen automatically and you will be logged in shortly. If you do not have the necessary read/write permissions, your client app cannot update itself, and you will need to ask your IT support for assistance with the installation.
