This build brings improvements and bug fixes.

OCR Conversion

The central highlight of this build is the new automatic OCR function for PDF documents.

Scanned PDFs, which were previously only available as images, are now automatically processed with text recognition and converted into a searchable text format. This allows the contents of these documents to be easily highlighted, copied, and especially found via full-text search for the first time. Additionally, it is possible to optimize existing PDF documents retroactively with OCR. This makes these older files fully accessible for full-text search and easier and faster to find in the future.

The new functionality is described in a separate FAQ article. Since this functionality uses resources on the timeSensor backend, it is not available for 'on premise' installations.

Further Development of the AI Add-In

The AI integration introduced in the last maintenance build has been further developed in this build:
  1. Automatic Anonymization of Names: all names associated with the case in tSL (e.g., client, opponent, etc.) are automatically anonymized before being passed to the AI and converted back to the original names after receiving the response. This measure serves data protection.
  2. Three-level Improvement of Performance Texts: In addition to the professional and detailed levels, the simple level is now also available. This level only checks the existing texts for spelling errors without changing their content.
  3. Undo: with the function Restore Original Text allows the AI-modified text to be restored to its original state.
  4. Auto-Translation: performance texts are automatically translated into the language of the client
  5. Warning for Implausible Time Entries: if two employees attend a client meeting but enter different meeting durations in their timesheets, timeSensor shows a warning in the dossier.

Improvements in the Dossier Window

Place of Birth as a Field in the Dossier

The field Place of Birth is now available in the master sheet. The field can be accessed with the command CASE_INSERT("...";"birth_place").

Direct Access to the Case Folder from the Dossier

It was always possible to access the dossier by double-clicking on a contact. From this build onwards, it is now also possible to go directly from the dossier to the case folder. To do this, right-click on the desired case on the Cases page and select the command Open Case Folder.


New or Updated Export Filters in Accounting

Bexio: to remain compatible with the Rombro App the interface to the accounting software Bexio has been updated
Crésus: the expenses for the accounting software Crésus have been updated.
Sage Start: a new export filter for the accounting software Sage Start has been added

Further Improvements

New Access Right for Adjusting Selection Lists

It is now possible to control the adjustment of selection lists via an access right. For this purpose, an additional entry has been added in the User Editor, under Access, tab Other an additional entry has been added:


Automatic Suggestion of the Archive Date

When archiving a case, a date is now automatically suggested (current date + 10 years).
